The Ol' List

Remember my list? The "30 Before 30" one? It's time to knock a few more off.

This one should be fun. #15 -- Perfect a Cookie Recipe.

Here's the problem. I'm overwhelmed.

Overwhelmed by cookies? Yes, overwhelmed.

What kind should I start with?

Should I keep it simple?

Chocolate chip?

Sugar Cookies, gingersnaps, snickerdoodle?

Or make something fancy like macaroons?

Help me decide. Please.

I say stay with the chocolate chip or sugar cookie. Those are the kinds I always want to eat. I kind of feel like making some right now:)

all i can offer is this piece...there is nothing like a fantastic chocolate chip cookie. Don't get me wrong, I love snickerdoodles but not everyone does.

I get a lot of nice comments from this recipe. They stay nice and moist because of the instant pudding :) And there's nothing better than a chocolate chocolate chip cookie!!

Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 c. margarine
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 pkg. (small) INSTANT vanilla pudding
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 pkg. (12 oz) choc. chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Combine marg, sugars, vanilla, pudding. Beat until smooth and creamy. Add eggs, beat in. Gradually add flour and soda. Stir in Chocolate chips (and nuts, if desired). Batter will be stiff. Drop by rounded spoon onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake 375 degrees, 8 to 10 minutes.

For chocolate chocolate chip cookies use chocolate flavored instant pudding.
